Hello!
This is a crazy busy (but fun) week at Oregon Buddhist Temple!!
Last Sunday, Rev. Vonn Magnin (Arizona Buddhist Temple) and his wife Karen visited the temple as they were visiting family in the area. The Sangha was treated to Rev. Magnin's very positive and happy Dharma message on "Ichigo Ichie" (One time, one meeting).

The beautiful red dahlias in onaijin are from Rev.Magnin and Karen!
Thank you for visiting us! We hope you both enjoyed your time in Portland!
Instead of Dharma Exchange that usually happens after the Sunday Service, the sangha got busy preparing for Obon.
I heard that Rev. Magnin offered to help a bit with the garden!!

There were some cashier and officework training going on in one corner.
And ofcourse kitchen was bursting with various projects.
(Check out Furikake Chex Mix if you are at Obon - it is AMAZINGLY tasty and addictive!)
Omiyage and Kimono Stores are starting to set up - lots of moving boxes and cases here and there!!
This Saturday is our Obon from 2pm!!
