Reverend Vonn Magnin

​

Rev. Vonn Magnin was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and has been married to his wife Karen, an educator, for 29 years. They have two adult sons, one of whom lives in Portland area, as well as two lovable dogs. 

​

A long time attendee of the Arizona Buddhist Temple, Rev. Magnin received Tokudo ordination in 2014, and  his Kyoshi certificate in 2022. He has several degrees: a Bachelors of Social Work and a Masters in Public
Administration from Arizona State University, as well a Master of Arts in Buddhist Studies from the BCA's sister Institute of Buddhist Studies in May 2026.

 

Rev. Magnin is a US Marine veteran, and enjoys science fiction.
