Hello

We hope you are able to stay warm and dry as we are getting into the chillier rainier weather of Pacific Northwest!

We have been very fortunate to have had two wonderful guest speakers in the first half of November. On November 2, We welcomed back Dr.Satsuki Ina to share Dharma messages. Dr.Ina shared her experiences with Tsuru for Solidarity, and shared her thoughts on how our community is just like the Golden Chain, and that we need to keep our link bright and strong.

November 9th was our Eitaikyo Special Service, when we honor those people who have passed to keep the Jodo Shinshu alive and relevant for us. Rev. Vonn Magnin (Arizona Buddhist Temple) was our guest minister. (Welcome Back!) Rev. Magnin encouraged us to think of all the predecessors, many generations of people who has relayed Pureland Buddhism, as we sat together at the temple that moment.

Both Dr.Ina and Rev.Magnin led the Dharma Exchange after the services, for a more casual chat with the sangha - Along with amazing refreshment November toban had been preparing.
