Happy Hanamatsuri!
Today at the temple, we celebrated Hanamatsuri, Shakamuni Buddha's birthday.
Rev. Koyama, our supervising minister led the beautiful service with special chant and the Dharma message.

The service was followed by potluck of delicious food and visiting each other downstairs -
we had birthday cakes for Baby Buddha, but we also wished Happy Birthday to one of our Dharma School students!
The temple cherry trees were celebrating Buddha's birthday in full bloom too!!
Our upcoming event is Spring Bazaar!
There are going to be very delicious dishes!!
