Saturday, December 7th was our 7th Annual Craft Fair at Oregon Buddhist Temple. From early in the morning, local artists set up their booth of amazing artworks and crafts inside hondo, and in downstairs hall. Sangha members also came early to help the vendors set up, to be in the kitchen to prep for food and beverages that was to be sold during the craft fair.
9am came very quickly, and it looked like a very steady flow of people enjoyed the eclectic mix of vendors -- from delicious drinking vinegar to indigo dyed fabrics. Lots of different style jewelries to beautiful paperwork pieces. Here are only a fraction of the artist vendors we had :
OBT Craft Fair also has delicious refreshments for the shoppers to purchase! Plus a cosy sitting area to rest with those delicious goodies when you need to rest your feet for a little bit. We have the famous chocolate stout cake that is out of this world and hot hearty bowls of chili, and this year, one Sangha member developed a recipe for delicious ramen bowl -- using the local ingredients from Ota Tofu and Umi Organics! Yummm!
Thank you to everyone who came to Craft Fair. Thank you to every one of the amazing vendors. Thank you to volunteers who helped everything run smoothly throughout the day. Thank you to Angie, Ryan and Avery who spent months organize this event.
