This issue is particularly a good read -- Rev.Sugahara's message talks about "Ondokusan". We often sing this gatha in Sunday Services, and it is really interesting to revisit the words with Rev.Sugahara's explanations.
The May issue is then followed by what Gotan-e/Gotanye is -- joint Gotan-e Service will be on May 23rd! Good information about temple pledges, Study Class, OBWA, Dharma School, Girl Scout, and more. Starting on page 5, you get fun glimpses on moms of some sangha members. Each month, one member of the board write an article about themselves, and it is such an interesting way to get to know them a bit more!
